Services
Callowhill Capital Advisors specializes in providing financial advisory and consulting services to education and non-profit organizations, such as colleges and universities, charter schools, independent schools, foundations, and religious and cultural institutions. Each situation is unique and our professionals provide customized plans of finance, analysis, and guidance for each organization, tailored to accommodate our client’s goals, considerations, and risk tolerance. Callowhill’s sole focus is on providing financial advice to non-profits. Our services include:
Most non-profit organizations find that their internal resources are limited in effectively managing a debt issuance. Issuers and borrowers engage Callowhill as their financial advisor to bring technical transaction proficiency and creative ideas to the table. Callowhill assists its clients in transaction management by developing a plan of finance, evaluating financing structures, advising on pricing, reviewing bond documents, and “quarterbacking” the transaction.
Callowhill is skilled in structuring, negotiating and independently pricing a broad range of interest rate derivatives and financial instruments. Our experience includes advising on the execution of new swaps, assignments and novations, terminations, and restructurings for singular, matched-hedges to complex hedging programs and portfolios.
Callowhill provides financial consulting services related to capital planning outside of specific debt financing needs. One such service includes working with borrowers to provide an independent assessment of their existing capital structure, on its own or in conjunction with strategic planning for future capital needs. Our review is comprehensive and, among other aspects, considers a borrower’s existing credit position, debt mix, covenant structure, capital sources, and use of derivatives, in order to identify risk exposures and restructuring opportunities.
Increasingly, our clients find the need for a retained long-term strategic capital planning advisor. Generally, activities involve ongoing portfolio review, strategic capital planning, modeling, pro forma development, policy development, project evaluation, and credit rating management.
